Winnat's Pass, Mam Tor // Couple's Photography

Wow.

Sometimes things get busy and you just forget to post an incredible shoot!

This session was just crazy - we planned with Sophie and Jack to meet up at Winnat’s pass in the northern Peak District. The venue is stunning - with a deep limestone ravine bisecting the countryside leaving precipitous drops on either side with a small road running between.

Given that it was December we tried to pick a day with slightly more friendly conditions… but you’ll see that we didn’t get too lucky! Climbing up the grassy slopes we reached the top and were almost instantly beset by the most wicked snowstorm I’ve had the pleasure of being in! The wind was whipping it across the top of the hill and I desperately tried to take pictures while it felt like icy needles were hitting the backs of my hands.

We caught some incredibly moody black and white shots and the love between these two incredible folks was easy to see despite the horrific conditions.
